MAISON MARA CAPE TOWN AW17 EDITORIAL IN COLLABORATION WITH NATHALIE BARDIN

MAISON MARA CAPE TOWN AW17 EDITORIAL IN COLLABORATION WITH NATHALIE BARDIN

For the past two years Kelly Withey has been building up a loyal following with her concept store Maison Mara. One of the reasons is the beautiful international fashion labels, the other is the fact that she hand-picks the latest designs that are ideally suited to her South African clients’ tastes and lifestyle.

“My buying decisions are necessarily influenced by the rest of the world as I buy from brands that are affected by the global economy, whether it’s J.W. Anderson that is affected by Brexit or Carol Lim and Umberto Leon who are experiencing the ramifications of Donald Trump’s presidential victory. However, my selection is influenced by the trends I want to bring to South Africa, the currency and what I believe my clients will want in six months’ time when the new season arrives,” Withey explains.
